Good luck!! ❤️
Thank you meipak ♥️ i have a crochet biz, And I intend to make amigurumi plushies
That’s awesome!! Good luck!! ❤️
These are very good ideas. Thank you for revisiting this in 2023! 💜
Thank you so much, Alma! ❤️
In uk all toys (plushies) need to be safety tested and certified before you can sell them. It’s an absolute pain!
Great video though. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for sharing that info, Lynden! And I’m happy you like the video!! ❤️
Not only in UK but in EU also! And regulations are everywhere and I can’t even imagine products without some kind of law to produce them!maybe stickers are without any specific regulations! But of course, it’s not bad!
I’m scared of 2023 actually, with the inflation and everything. I see a lot of popular small business who complain about how 2022 was their worst year ever, selling their product 25% off because they sell less…
Hi Alexandra! I totally understand where you’re coming from but YOU GOT THIS!! 2022 may be the worst year for other businesses but that doesn’t mean that’s what’s going to happen to you too. Building/Starting a business involves taking risks. I know you can make 2023 your best year yet!! ❤️ I’d also like to invite you in my free YouTube Livestream next week on January 26 (Thursday) at 3pm PST / 5pm CST / 6pm EST. I really think you’re going to learn a lot from it. You can register here in case you want to join: http://bit.ly/3CYODS7 Hope to see you there! ❤️
Hi Mei – OK- you already know I’m an art patron-NOT an artist. I would like you ask you ONE more question (promise) : what about sculpture? Where are the sculptors? Honestly buying unique sculpture can be challenging these days; our local galleries are typically jam packed with wall art, jewelry, and pottery. The things I see online are generally sort of “mass produced” looking or are generic subjects , like animals – and I loved your comment about artists possibly feeling their art is “too unique” — honestly- I’m not criticizing any art genre or form, but, our house has all the wall art, pottery , and trinkets we really want ( for now:) ). Folks like me understand that sculpture can be difficult and relatively expensive to ship; if anyone is an aspiring sculptor- you can take that concern off your list. Anyhow Mei- maybe you have an opinion?
Hi! Sculptures are definitely worth exploring too and have so much potential of being profitable too. Finding a profitable market/niche for an artist’s sculpture/art will play a really important role.
hi Mei, I love you videos ,they are very inspiring . so i watched your video on pricing your handmade products and if i were to use that formula in tufted rugs it would be too expensive because the materials are not so cheap. I tried cutting the cost by buying cheaper raw materials and its not working . so what you recommend i do?
Hi! You can adjust your hourly rate a bit for now but I don’t recommend going below the minimum hourly rate in your country/state. If you’re still not comfortable with the price, it’s okay to start low in the beginning to enter the market and gradually increase your prices until you meet your goals price (which is your computed retail price using the formula).
okay.i will try that thank you
I just started doing a craft fair (at my granddaughter’s school), and have incorporated things I love to make – journals, notebooks, etc. I love the sticker idea. I have made small stickers for cards that I like to make, and had not thought of making stickers to sell. But, I really like that idea. Thank you for suggesting that.
Hi! So glad this video gave you ideas on other products you can offer to your customers. All the best to you and your business!! ❤️
I’m very thankful for the video!!~
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Great ideas. Love the tote bag idea but I am up-cycling my bags from clothes and greens I don’t wear and fabrics I already have.
That sounds really great!! Good luck!! I wish you all the best!! ❤️
She’s just briefly explaining the craft for those who don’t know about it . Whoever agreed she’s talking to much is impatient
Hi! Thank you so much for your comment!! ❤️ The purpose of this video is to give a list of business ideas one can start. It’s not really intended to give a thorough explanation of each craft. 😊
Talking too much?????What???? She was quick and to the point. Explaining everything very clearly. I am ecstatic after watching this video 👏👏👏
Lol! Talking to much on her own channel? Someone couldn’t find anything to complain about so they decided to complain about literally nothing! 🙂 This is a super helpful video!
Edited to add: This is the first time I have noticed this channel and I’m subscribing. Great content, easy on the ears (no crazy background music) and in my niche.
Thank you so much for the kind words @lauriebonfanti3018 @Mrs.LadeyBug @rjordan231!! ❤️
Great video, thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for watching, Lisa!! ❤️
This was great. I’m really going to try several of these. ❤❤😊
Let me know how it goes!! ❤️ And don’t forget to keep your ideal customers in mind. Good luck!! ❤️
Thank you! Very useful information, I am not in any category😂, but my business always makes a profit❤
That’s really great to hear, Yulee!! Happy for you!! ❤️
I loved all of your ideas. Some I would definitely have to learn but all of them were really great. Many Thanks For This Video.
Thank you so much for the kind words, June!! ❤️❤️
I love how she explained everything that was in style. Great job.
Thank you so much, Norris!! ❤️
well done, good content+
Thank you so much, George!! ❤️
The references to stationary, stickers and enamel pins all brought me back to childhood. Now I’m feeling all warm & fuzzy! This was inspiring. Thank you!
All the nostalgia!! ❤️
I love all your ideas, but funny enough, I was thinking of totes. Folks are moving to canvas bags for shopping, instead of plastic, so I think it could be a lucrative future market for me. Am going to give it a try. Thx.
Yes! Go for it, Pia! ❤️ Start with finding a market/niche to serve first though and tailor/create your products based off what you think would appeal to your ideal customers. Good luck!! You got this!! ❤️
@Creative Hive thx so much for your well wishes. I’m gonna jump right in and whether I fail or succeed, not going to worry about it, but will keep plugging away. Thx. again. Have a glorious weekend
